Overview: In kindergarten, the students use iPads each week to enrich what they are learning with their classroom teachers. Each child learns the basic operations of an iPad, including: on/off, "swiping it clean", opening apps and independently navigating through ones like Epic (reading) and Osmo. Using the iPads we research and take simple notes on topics they are learning about, as well as play games that promote literacy and math skills.
