In this IDL pupils have been exploring local foods and the impact that food production has on climate change and the carbon footprint. Through their projects, pupils have cooked recipes using local produce linked to the arable crops which grow in the area. They have also learned more about traditional Scottish foods when preparing a recipe with a local chef. Pupil work has been shared with Aberdeen University. Pupils have also devised recipes for sausage rolls and shared them with teachers and the class.
