What is the S3 Voyagers Programme?

The S3 Voyagers Programme is designed to enhance your School Leaver Profile (SLP) skills through engaging projects, interactive activities, and real-world challenges. 

This programme aims to prepare you for the future by equipping you with essential skills that are highly valued in both education and the workplace.

By the end of the programme, you will have a well-rounded skill set that enhances your academic performance and prepares you for future challenges and opportunities. 

The S3 Voyagers Programme is your gateway to becoming a confident, capable, and well-prepared individual ready to tackle the next steps in your educational journey and beyond.

What is your role?

As a participant in the S3 Voyagers Programme, your role is to engage actively in all activities, work collaboratively with your peers, and take responsibility for your learning. 

You'll have opportunities to take on different roles within your team and develop a wide range of skills.

Sector Projects

Throughout the year, you'll work on exciting projects related to various industry sectors, such as Energy, Hospitality, Construction and Education. Each sector block spans five weeks and is designed to give you hands-on experience in that field. 

Sector representatives will introduce real-life challenges that professionals in their industries face. You'll work in teams to brainstorm, research, and develop innovative solutions to these challenges. This collaborative approach will help you build critical teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

At the end of each sector block, your team will share your findings and solutions to the sector representatives and your peers. This not only allows you to showcase your hard work but also to receive valuable feedback from industry experts. By working on these projects, you'll gain a deeper understanding of each sector and how it operates, preparing you for future career opportunities.

At the end of the year, we'll hold a Sector Fair where you'll showcase your projects to sector representatives and the school community. This is your chance to demonstrate what you've learned and celebrate your achievements.

Personal Learner Profile

During the S3 Voyagers Programme, you'll create your own personal profile page to document your learning journey.
