At Arundel Christian School, we encourage students to work diligently toward academic excellence and strong character development. We believe hard work deserves recognition, and we celebrate our students’ achievements throughout the year.
Students come together at our Quarterly Pep Rally to honor accomplishments across our school community. During these events, we celebrate:
Success in extracurricular and enrichment activities
Students who achieve Honor Roll status
Students in grades 4 through 12 are eligible for Honor Roll recognition. The levels are:
B Honor Roll — 85% to 89.99% (Silver Pin)
A Honor Roll — 90% to 95.99% (Gold Pin)
Director’s Honor Roll — 96% to 100% (Gold Pin & Pizza Party)
An Engaged Learner of the Month will be celebrated from each core subject who demonstrates active participation, excellent attendance, and consistent Christlike character. The student will receive a snack-shack freebie and an achievement certificate.
Students who earn A or Director’s Honor Roll for three of the four quarters receive a special invitation to the End-of-Year Honor’s Brunch, where we celebrate their hard work and engaged learning.
Annual Promotion Ceremonies are held at the end of each school year. ACS holds ceremonies to recognize the achievements and growth of every student. These events honor students’ accomplishments and mark their promotion to the next level.

Leadership Focus: Compassion
At Arundel Christian School, leadership is not a role reserved for a few, it is a calling for every student. Rooted in Scripture and built on the names of God, our Leadership House System is designed to help students grow in identity, purpose, and influence. Every student is placed into a house that becomes their leadership home where they are mentored, challenged, and celebrated.
Houses are not just for fun or competition. They are spaces where leadership is formed, practiced, and refined. Students learn that leadership begins with the heart, is shaped by habits, and is expressed through service.
Purpose of the House System
Develop biblical leadership qualities in every student
Provide meaningful mentorship and belonging through house identity
Encourage healthy competition, collaboration, and growth
Reinforce the values of service, excellence, and accountability
Celebrate leadership in all its forms—spiritual, relational, and practical
Earning Points and Growing in Leadership
Students earn Leadership Points through the LiveSchool system by showing responsibility, integrity, initiative, and teamwork. These points contribute to both their personal Leadership Rank and their collective house success.
Leadership Rank = Points Earned – Demerits
Points can be used to redeem prizes and privileges. Reaching Rank 5 (250 pts) by year’s end earns special recognition at our closing ceremony.
Every Thursday is Leadership Day. During advisory sessions, students reflect on their growth, set personal goals, and collaborate on classwide leadership objectives. When goals are met, classes receive special recognition. Advisors meet with students twice monthly to encourage progress, celebrate wins, and offer guidance for continued growth.
Weekly House Challenges
Each week, houses can earn up to 100 additional points through creative and character-based challenges. These events build momentum, unity, and fun throughout the year while reinforcing leadership traits like communication, courage, and cooperation.
