What is an RA?

Resident Advisors (RAs) are an essential part of the Residence Life team. RAs proactively work to create and maintain a strong community through intentional conversations, programming, and general community development. RAs serve as a reliable resource for students and assist students by providing general support, information about on-campus resources, roommate mediations, and conflict resolution. RAs further support students in crisis and maintain community and facilities standards. RAs serve as role models and leaders to on-campus residents as well as to the larger SAIC community.
