Art Collider Lab is excited to announce the 2023 Connected Week, taking place from Wednesday, November 8th, to Tuesday, November 14th. This week-long event is part of the 'Connected Campus' project, aimed at preparing the art school for digital transformation. During this Connected Week, we are examining recent changes in the environment surrounding humanity that have become topics of discussion, and will explore the possibilities of coexistence with ecological, social, and technological entities that are categorized as others, 'non-human', through the lens of arts.
Connected Campus is a long-term Digital Transformation research project (2021-2025) of Korea National University of Arts, K-ARTS has been conducted by Art Collider Lab. Since the unexpected outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, K-ARTS has been establishing a digital-online environment and developing new creative, educational initiatives based on it to explore the direction of sustainable future art education.
Art Collider Lab will host the 2023 Connected Week from Wednesday, November 8th to Tuesday, November 14th, 2023. Detailed event information will be released in October, so please stay tuned for more updates.
Connected Campus Framework
Establishment of Campus Infrastructure for Digital-Online Art Education: Setting up digital studios for each major, improving internet connectivity, and expanding the common digital square.
Pilot Projects Utilizing the Established Environment: Conducting pilot educational workshops, providing creation support, and organizing showcase presentations.
Connected Campus Archiving: Documenting the entire project's research and implementation, and creating a website for sharing with future generations and other institutions.
Strategic Research: Developing strategies and establishing future directions for arts education along with the development of digital-online infrastructure.
