Art Collider Lab presents a workshop titled <AI and Motion Capture utilized Dance Creation>, utilizing the newly established OptiTrack Motion Capture Studio within the School of Dance to explore various artistic creations.
Dates: September 9th, September 16th, and September 23rd, spanning over three weeks.
Session 1: Understanding Digital Transformation of Body Movements Using OptiTrack / September 9th (Saturday) 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

This session explains the necessity of recording and archiving body movements and of integrating technology for new creations. It introduces the new possibilities of dance through artificial intelligence. It also gives an understanding of the basic principles of motion capture using state-of-the-art OptiTrack cameras.
Session 2: Fusion of Dance and AI / September 17th (Sunday) 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

This session involves practical exercises using real-time interactive media tools like Isadora and AI-based motion capture libraries like PoseNET to visualize and sonify real-time movements.
Session 3: Dance Creation Using Digital Technology / September 23rd (Saturday) 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Participants will create interactive performance ideas using AI and interactive media.
Eligibility: Students interested in digital art creation within the School of Dance at Korea National University of Arts.
