Wildwood School vision

In 2018, Wildwood faculty, students, and families worked together to develop a joint vision for our community. Based on input from each of these three constituencies, we defined five ‘pillars’ (tabs above) which form the foundation of our school identity. Working in collaborative inquiry groups, Wildwood staff developed ‘This we believe’ statements which were synthesized into the shared values for each ‘pillar.’ We then agreed upon core practices that would exemplify these values. Finally, one SMARTgoal was identified to focus our improvement efforts with clearly outlined action steps.

Wildwood's Shared Vision

Welcoming everyone is the foundation of our community. At Wildwood, students are actively involved in their own learning. Children develop creative and critical thinking, collaboration and communication through inquiry, leading to real world learning.

We strive to have equity and a commitment to social justice drive all that we do.
