Images are under copyright protection. Copyright means a person owns the image and you need to ask for permission or cite (give the source) the author/website.
If you use an image for a project or post it online, then you NEED to give the author credit.
If you don't, you are doing so illegally ~ if you earn money or fame from it, they can sue you!
Creative commons are places that allow you to freely use their material without copyright issues!
