When is it ok to buy children mobile devices?
Type: Apple products are much more expensive than others that do the similar things.
Example: iPad $500 vs. Kindle Fire $200
Android apps vs. Apple apps: Some differences, but not major
Age: Even kindergartners have tablets, but is that wise? At the very least, limit their time and turn on parental controls.
Students would benefit from a family computer or their own after 3rd grade for school work and before then to get used to computers.
Cost: Should kids have $500 iPads? Only if you're willing to accept that it could be broken in a year.
