The Media Center has the following equipment available to loan teachers:
Computer projectors. Available on a cart or in a carrying case.
Document cameras. One ELMO document camera for short-term to medium-term loan and IPEVO document cameras for annual loan.
Chromebooks. We have a class set of 30 Chromebooks reserved for classes held in the library, 10 that circulate to students for in-library use, and a small number for short-term staff loans. Borrow Chromebooks for your classroom use through Jeff Snyder in Rm. 321.
iPads and accessories. We have a set of 10 iPads and a cart of 30 iPads for use in the library or your classrooms. We also have some fun iPad accessories for video production including 4 sets of tripods, microphones, and adapters; DIY green screens (cheap green tablecloths!); an iPad document camera stand (can be used for stop motion animation!); and a few other goodies. We also have an Apple TV and packs of tablet stylus pens for loan.
Clickers. We have a few class sets of TurningPoint brand student responders available for short-term or annual loan.
Peripherals. We have a DVD drive, USB flash drives, MacBook chargers, and HDMI and VGA adapters for loan.
Public address systems. We have two PA systems and microphones which can be used for assemblies, dances, etc.
Voice over IP phone (VOIP). If you don't know what it is you probably don't need it. But if you do, we have you covered.
All the old AV you can eat. Televisions with and without VHS and DVD players, old-school overhead projectors, boomboxes, and more!
How do you reserve equipment? Just email us or stop by the Media Center. Depending on demand, equipment may be loaned by the period, day, or week.
What about production equipment? The library has three multifunction copiers, a Scantron, a laminator, and Silhouette Cameo 3 craft cutter, paper cutters, and more.
