The CCE Course needs volunteer physicians to facilitate our MS 2 CCE Case Presentation Sessions.
During the MS2 CCE Fall Semester, students are asked to identify a patient case they participated in during CCE and compose a written SOAP note for the case. IN addition, the students must pose a clinical question related to the case and research the evidence-based answer(s).
Facilitators will be given a copy of each student's SOAP note, clinical question and evidence-based answer 1-2 weeks prior to the session.
You can facilitate the session by asking a student to orally present his or her case/question/answer, give brief constructive feedback on the presentation, and encourage group discussion. Each student presentation/ discussion will be allotted 15 mins.
Each volunteer physician facilitator is assigned a group of 4-6 students. The students and the facilitator meet on campus on either:
