Project Dates will be posted here but Art projects will take us 4-5 in class work days to start and complete. Students should plan to try and be here every day but will be able to use Lyceum or morning tutoring to catch up should they get sick or have to miss school.

Project #1 Still Life
Project #1 Still Life
The student must be able to create a still life artwork in charcoal from observation of the still life in the art room. Our practice this month has prepared them for basic shape drawing of outlines/shading/accuracy in proportions and creating a composition that fills up the page.
The criteria are as follows:
Craftsmanship
Composition
Accuracy
Value Range
Time Management/Participation
Students are tasked with really being patient, working on a single project for approximately 4 work days (4 hours) and then turning it in with an attached rubric (written response questions).
