Chair a Sub-Committee

We have a number of exciting events coming up this academic year.  If organisation is your thing, perhaps you would like to chair a sub-committee and take control of one of our upcoming events?   Not only is this satisfying, but it is really fun as well!

Design/Art Skills

Have your artistic skills being lying dormant for too long; do they need re-awakening? Then why not consider spending one or two hours per month helping out with promoting our events by designing posters, flyers and tickets and enhancing our brand new PTFA Noticeboard - all whilst enhancing your CV! The PTA will cover any pre-approved expenses and in return for your skills the PTFA offer you the chance to become part of a dynamic fun team - not to mention free entrance into our many events and a much sought after invitation to our infamous PTFA curry nights (not for the faint-hearted!). Attending monthly meetings would be useful though not necessary.

Bar Tendering Skills

Can you spare, what equates to, one or two hours per month to help manage our events bar. Experience in setting up and manning a bar would be preferred though not essential. Knowing the difference between a screwball and football might help - though not necessarily. You will be supported in manning the bar by both parents and Arden staff members. In return for your barperson skills the PTFA offer you the chance to enhance your CV and become part of a dynamic fun team - not to mention free entrance to our many events and a much sought after invitation to our infamous PTFA curry nights (not for the faint-hearted!). Attending monthly meetings would be useful though not necessary.

Marketing Skills

Can you spare one or two hours per month to help out with promoting and supporting events by direct marketing, assisting with our web page, poster campaigns, securing sponsorship, links with local businesses, fundraising ideas, etc? In return for your marketing skills the PTFA offer you the chance to enhance your CV and become part of a dynamic fun team - not to mention free entrance to our many events and a much sought after invitation to our infamous PTA curry nights (not for the faint-hearted!). Attending monthly meetings would be useful though not necessary.

Organisational Skills

Can you spare one or two hours per month to help out with organising/event management for the PTFA? Do you need to flex those time management and people skills? Examples of requirements are setting up and running stalls, securing manpower, costing and pricing, etc. In return for your organisational skills the PTFA offer you the chance to enhance your CV and become part of a dynamic fun team - not to mention free entrance to our many events and a much sought after invitation to our infamous PTFA curry nights (not for the faint-hearted!). Attending monthly meetings would be useful though not necessary.
