Events & Sponsorship

Arden PTFA organises numerous fundraising events over the school year. These provide a great opportunity to socialise with friends and family, as well as the chance to meet new people from our local community. We are committed to holding quality, value for money events with a broad appeal and the PTFA team strives to build upon their success each year. We recognise and value the support our events attract from parents, pupils, teachers, local businesses and community groups. All money raised at PTFA events goes towards purchasing additional educational equipment and improved facilities for the students at Arden.

Throughout the year, we hold various events.   Currently we are looking at a Cinema Night, Quiz Night and Spring/Summer Ball - possibly to coincide with the Jubilee celebrations.   The Fireworks Festival, which is firmly established in the community as an event not to be missed, and the Arden Christmas Ball which is a fun-filled festive evening with a three course sit down meal, games and disco.  It's ever increasing popularity can be measured by the fact that year after year we sell out within two weeks of advertising.  

We would love to consider any ideas you may have for any other fundraising activities - if you have one, let us know!  

Matchfunding - can you offer corporate support or do you know of any organisations prepared to match fund?

Sponsorship - can you sponsor or part-sponsor an event?    We offer amazing potential for publicity, reaching out to potentially 25,000 people!   An example of sponsorship might include covering the cost of printing tickets, producing flyers, banners, posters, etc.

Details for all our events are sent out from school's email system and flyers are posted in and around the area.
