Editor's Note

Dear Readers,

Just as Robespierre told Louis XVI on the morning of his execution, I will not keep you long.

This issue marks the second installment of Quiddity, the undergraduate literary magazine of Arcadia University. More than just words on a page (or, if we’re being accurate, screen), the works included are the voices of our community and campus demanding to be heard. But don’t take it from me; take it from the reincarnation of Zelda Fitzgerald, or the lovable booknerd at the local library, or even Bigfoot’s ostensible lumberjack sex slave. The point is, that person you see everywhere across campus but never quite talked to has a voice, and damn is it a powerful one.

Thank you to our contributors, and to all who submitted and gave us the terribly painful task of deciding what gets published and what doesn’t.

Special thanks to all who worked to make this magazine a very successful one, my fellow editors Kerrianna Wallace and Marcella Haddad, and our faculty advisor, Dan Pieczkolon.

And as always, thank you for reading.

-Brendan McCourt, Editor-in-chief
