Submission Guidelines

Quiddity Magazine, Arcadia University’s online literary journal, seeks submissions of poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction.  The journal is edited by the undergraduate students of Arcadia University.

Quiddity publishes digitally twice per year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall.

For a better understanding of our aesthetic aims, please read our Statement of Purpose and/or recent issues.

We prefer submissions in the following file formats (in order of preference): Microsoft Word (“.doc”), Rich Text Format (“.rtf”), and PDF (“.pdf”).  Please add the proper file extension to the filename, which should be the title of the piece (i.e. “TheIdiots.doc”).  Also, please include your contact information (including your name and a brief bio written in the 3rd person) in the body of the email but not in the attached submission (as our editorial staff practices a blind reading process).

We will not consider any material that has previously appeared anywhere (print or digital) in North America.  Simultaneous submissions to other publications are permitted, but please let us know immediately upon acceptance elsewhere, so we can withdraw your submission from our reading process.

For medium specific guidelines, please see below:

If you have any questions regarding the magazine or submissions, please email them to QuiddityLitMag@gmail.com
