Kristen Stedman is a sophomore communications major obsessed with tea, outer space, and old buildings. She wishes whoever is reading this a very nice day and a very happy life.

Leslie Austin is a first-year at Arcadia University who dreams of Mr. Darcy, having brunch with Bobby Flay and writing the next American classic.

Gabby Slifkin is currently a junior at Arcadia University, majoring in Psychology/ Pre- Art Therapy. She loves helping people and finding out their stories and incorporating art as a way for people to tell their stories and express themselves. Gabby has taken multiple art classes, but always finds herself drawing and painting. She is always willing to try new things and be adventurous whether it is in life or just her artwork. Her artwork, "Through the Darkness," accompanies Kelsey Cohan's short story.

Cheyenne Baker is a freshman here at Arcadia University, where she is a graphic design major. Cheyenne has been drawing for as long as she can remember. Hopefully one day she will be designing either book covers or album art for Pop Punk bands. Her art is also included in the magazine, where "The Endagered Short-Eared Owl," "Astronaut 13," and "The Octopus" accompany the works of Leslie Austin, Kristen Stedman, and this contributor's page, respectively.

Mary Corbalis is a Junior in Arcadia's BFA program with a concentration in Illustration. She gained an interest in the arts at a very young age as a means of self expression, and decided in her early teens that she wanted to make it her career path. After college she hopes to find a position in concept designing in the video game or television industry. Her illustrations, "Twisted River" and "0.000050/sec," are paired with William Kyle Whitlock's poem and Helen Armstrong's short story.

Lauren Marelli is a sophomore and an art major here at Arcadia University. She has been drawing since she was 5 years old and enjoys studying and exploring various forms and techniques in art.  Lauren is responsible for all of the issue's hitherto unmentioned art, including the cover image.

William Kyle Whitlock III is a junior, or so he thinks, majoring in English, or so he also thinks. He enjoys writing poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction, preferably comedic, and acting. He prefers his tea loose, his games board, and his pens fountain.

Caroline Burgoyne  is Psychology and English double major at Arcadia University that enjoys traveling, reading, and writing. Lover of cats, coffee, and warm sweaters. Collects classic novels and beautiful notebooks.

Hannah Carlson is a Junior English major hoping to be a poet in the near future. An active member of the book club at Arcadia, Knight Tales. A geek at heart that spends her free time reading, playing Magic The Gathering with friends and binge watching Netflix.

Caitlyn Somers is a senior English major at Arcadia University. Caitlyn aspires to be a college professor and desires to (eventually) publish a book of poetry. She loves watching random dance choreography videos on Youtube (and crying because she wishes she could dance without looking like a dork), exploring nature, experiencing all forms of art, inhaling ice cream, and playing with dogs. She once travelled to London, Spain, and Paris, but was completely unimpressed with the variety of cultures. She is aware that her jokes are bad. Caitlyn is obsessed with words: when she was little and she used to play soccer, she would stand in the middle of the field during an intense game, and scribble words in the air. Her parents and teammates were always confused, and told her to pay attention. She reluctantly listened. As she transitioned into adulthood, she began to embrace her fascination with words. She always tries to find the right one, and when she fails to do so, she is beyond frustrated. So it goes.

Helen Armstrong is a junior Print Communications major. When she grows up she wants to be either Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or a writer, whichever comes first. She's currently brainstorming a gay book about the afterlife, and her dream is to write fiction that is a) entertaining, b) refreshing, and c) not heteronormative. She's editor in chief at locomag.com and tweets a mix of weird stuff and political rants @helenkarmstrong.

Emmalee Gagnon is an eighteen-year-old aspiring author who is currently an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing at Arcadia University. She has completed three novels, one of which has been completely edited with her writing mentor and freelance editor, Patty Zion, and is in the process of being published. Emmalee was the youngest person to ever be selected to attend the New York Pitch Conference, and had the opportunity while there to have her work critiqued by editors and agents. She has won multiple poetry and short story contests, and some of her work will be published in a book during the spring.

Kelsey Cohan is a senior studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing. In her free time she likes to hang out with cats, go to the city, and cry over thesis--sometimes all at the same time. Her dream is to be a graphic novelist.
