After much deliberation and lengthy waits in lines at the DMV, we are proud to announce that Quiddity’s Issue 21 is here! Now, we had a long talk with some people working in the Cheltenham DMV about the moral and legal issues with giving a litmag an ID so it can be properly carded (we’re not quite at 21 years– but issues should be the same thing, right?!). We were able to procure one for our beloved mag. Unfortunately, it is Cinderella-style, but we had to compromise somehow.
To bring the mood down a little bit, I am sad to announce that this will be my last issue as editor-in-chief. When I joined in my Sophomore year, I had no idea what kind of weird and wonderful things this experience would bring– from a Quiddity-rebranded production of Wicked to Editor-Union strikes. Thank you to everyone on the staff (both past and present) and I will start packing my bags to join the other EICs in the great CTLM in the sky. Hopefully the vending machines are better there than in Taylor.
To bring the mood back up– I am honored to announce Quiddity’s new Editors-in-Chief– Rye Hayden and Allison Hendershot! Rye and Allison are strong, outspoken leaders, and I trust that they can handle Quiddity’s roaring twenties (in terms of issues and contests, that is). Good luck, Rye!
This issue is packed with all things that fall under the umbrella of “life”-- friendship, family, late night drives, stars and, of course, monsters. We hope that you all enjoy the lineup that our staff has been working tirelessly on, even though hay fever left a path of destruction and defeated even our strongest editors. Enjoy!
