Finding housing in Australia can be challenging, so we typically secure bookings well in advance. You should have received an email from us with details about your housing placement - please check the email and read through it throughly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Do I need to bring/buy any linen?
No, you do not need to bring any linen. A linen pack has already been arranged for you. You may however, buy additional items once you arrive in Australia.
Are there any kitchen utensils?
Yes, kitchen utensils will be provided in your apartment.
Some students from the previous semester have left items for communal use.
Once you arrive in Australia, you can purchase any extra items you may need. It's best to first check what is already available in the apartment before deciding what to buy.

Can I know who I will be roomed with?
Due to privacy laws in Australia, we are unable to disclose this information. However, if you have listed any specific names on your housing preference form, we will do our best to accommodate your request and place you together.
Can I change housing?
Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to change housing once it has been finalised. Housing arrangements are made in advance and changes are very difficult to accommodate.
Please note that if you decide to change your housing, you are still bound by your current housing contract. This means you would need to contact the housing provider directly to arrange any changes yourself.
Additionally, since you're locked into the existing contract, you will be responsible for continuing to pay for your current accommodation until we’re able to find another student to take your place. As a result, you may be paying for two housing locations at the same time until a replacement is confirmed.
Do I need to pay the housing fee listed on the housing portal?
Please do not make any payments for housing or any fees listed on your housing portal, as Arcadia has already covered them for you. Disregard any payment requests. If you have any issues or concerns, or if you have already made a payment, please let us know immediately.
What should I do if I receive an email about housing fees on the portal from the housing accom?
Please disregard any information regarding payments or fees. You are not required to make any payments for your housing, as Arcadia has taken care of this for you. If you have any concerns, feel free to email your Aussie coordinator.
When does my lease conclude?
Please note that your lease will conclude at the end of your exams.
