This tool allows users to effectively view and interpret pumping test response data in multi-aquifer settings. Drawing a cross section line on the underlying upper plan view map, allows users to view observation wells in cross-section (middle), their respective hydrographs (blue lines on lowermost graph) and the time-varying pumping rate (pink bars on lowermost graph). The user can move the slider to visualize water level changes at observation wells on cross-section (inverted blue triangles) as the pumping test progresses. As these data sources are fully linked, the user can hover over a well in plan view (upper map) to see where it lies on cross-section (middle) and view its associated hydrograph (lower). Tools like this allow hydrogeologists, groundwater flow modellers and water managers to extract insight about their site's hydrogeologic setting and the spatial distribution of aquifers and aquitards using available hydraulic response data.
