Students in the Know

Returning to School

Kenmore-Garfield High School students who have chosen to return to the building will be back to in-person classes starting on Monday, March 15th. Classes will be back to their regularly scheduled times and lengths. This means that the school day starts at 8 am and the classes are 90 minutes long.

Students will not be able to use lockers in the building as the closeness of the lockers and the nature of lockers have the potential to lead to social distancing issues as well as being a problem for the janitorial staff to keep clean. The hallways have been marked with arrows to show which side of the hallway students should walk on and which direction they should be going.

Masks will be required.

Start State STNA Night

Stark State will be hosting an STNA information night on March 2nd at 7 pm. It is free to attend the meeting, and you do not need to be in the nursing pathway to attend. An STNA is a certification that allows people to work in many nursing and other health care facilities, and it is a relatively short process to study and take the test for the STNA. Those wishing to attend or looking for more information should contact Mrs. Abood.
