Extra School Help

The After-Hours Support Center

The After-Hours Support Center is a free tutoring program that is available Monday - Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm to assist students K-12 in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. The tutors are Akron Public School teachers who are there to assist with assignments. Students do not need to make an appointment. They can simply show up to the Google Meet, which is linked here.

In addition to tutoring services, there are counselors and staff to help connect families to the services they need as well as tech help.
