Student/Staff Spotlight

Congratulations to our KGHS choir director, Mr. Travis Baiera, for his recent engagement! He got engaged to Miss Kelly Ward, the Band Director at Rocky River Middle School on October 17, 2020.

He proposed at a botanical garden known as the Holden Arboretum.

When asked about it, Mr. Baiera said, he felt "over the moon," and that they are "extremely happy to finally be engaged."

"Planning an engagement during a pandemic is incredibly difficult," he says. So, in order to pass up the pandemic, they are going to just enjoy the engagement for a while until they can have a "normal" wedding, meaning all friends and family can be invited.
