In our pursuit to achieve both physical and mental improvement we encourage our cadets to participate and compete in challenges outside of military focused events. As such, we provide our cadets the opportunity to engage in activities that focuses on critical thinking to solve security threat problems, air dynamics, and robotics; to name a few.
The National Youth Cyber Education Program is a cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) program of the Air & Space Forces Association. It was created to inspire K-12 students toward careers in STEM disciplines critical to our nation's future.
SeaPerch guides students on building an underwater robot while supplying educators with the tools and training to help them through the process.
StellarXplorer is a national space design competition that challenges teams of students (grades 9-12) to solve orbit planning, satellite component, and launch vehicle selection scenarios presented in a series of online rounds.
ARC gives middle and high school students the opportunity to design, build, and launch model rockets and hands-on experience solving engineering problems.
JROTC Academic Bowl is to prepare students for state exit/graduation exams as well as college entrance exams, such as the SAT and ACT. Questions cover language arts, math, science, and general knowledge in each level of the competition.
USMC Sports is committed to the success of student-athletes across the country.
The Navy & Marine Corps JROTC Flight Academy is an 8-week summer STEM program, conducted at partnering institutions nationwide. Upon successful completion of the program, cadets have the opportunity to earn college credit and their Private Pilot’s Certification.
