8th Grade Health

For APS 8th grade students taking Health (with the exception of those that take the alternate assessment), the Layer I program in the Albuquerque Public Schools is:

Comprehensive Health Skills (Goodheart-Wilcox)

This program will first be used in: School Year 2025-2026

This program will be used through: School Year 2029-2030

This program includes hardback student editions in English and online student editions in both English and Spanish. Teacher materials are available online. A limited edition of physical teacher editions are available within APS, but the publisher no longer prints them. Online access for both students and teachers is available through Classlink.
