Meet Your Teacher!!!!!

Hello! I am Mrs. Stang and I will be your Language Arts, Media Literacy, and/or Creative Writing teacher this year. I am so excited to meet all of you!

This will be my 17th year teaching. Throughout my career, I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade. Out of all of those grades, middle school has always been my favorite (I am one of those crazy teachers, lol). My passion has always been Language Arts. I love getting students excited about reading and writing.

In my class, I work very hard to create an environment of mutual respect. I also understand that not all students learn in the same way, so I will often give students different options and choices for classroom assignments. I want all parents and students to know that we are a team, and I hope you know that you can reach out to me if you ever have any questions or concerns.

A Little More Information About Me:

I absolutely love being outdoors. Especially with my 2 dogs, Sunni and Bolt. I also love ALL animals. I even have 10 chickens. My husband, Mike, and I love to travel. We have been to 14 different countries and there are still so many places we would like to go in the future. My favorite thing about traveling is trying the different types of food and learning about new customs/cultures. I also really love yoga and running.
