Free Writes

                               What is a Free Write?

A free write is a paragraph about anything you are interested in writing about. All free writes should be typed on a google doc and added to your google class work when you are finished. You can write about a different topic each time, you could start your own chapter book and write short chapters each time, you can use it as a journal and write down current things that are happening in your life, or you can use the changing topics I will post here for anyone who is experiencing writers block. 

                             Here is the Grading Scale for Free Writes:

1. Proper Heading- (+10) first, last name, date, teacher name, period

2. Title (Each First Letter in Title is Capitalized)- (+10)

3. Indentation (+10)- TAB

4. Introduction/ Conclusion (+20= 10 points each)

Introduction: The first sentences telling me what your free write is going to be about

Conclusion: The last sentence reviewing what your free write is about

5. 5+ sentences (+50).... of course, you can always write more than 5 sentences

         Examples of a Free Writes Below:

One story is NONFICTION (Not Fake=Real), one story is FICTION (Fake), and the last one is an example of a continued story
