Jewelry- Course Description
In this course, students will discover the connections between Jewelry and other art disciplines. Students will also use their personal experience, as well as social issues, as sources of inspiration for making art. Students will gain knowledge in Jewelry theory, history and practice through explorations in a variety of Jewelry media areas.
Jewelry I is a beginning level studio art course that introduces students to the foundations of jewelry design and construction.
Jewelry II /III & IV is an intermediate/advanced level course where students continue to delve into the creative possibilities and technical demands of jewelry making.
