Class communication
Class communication
I encourage you to talk to me often in class, during Zoom hours, and by Zoom appointment. Asking questions, and explaining things to others, in or out of class, is one of the best ways to improve your understanding of the material and I am always happy to help. This course is to be an environment in which everyone feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, offering good guesses and ideas, and is respectful to one another.
As per the University-wide Statement on Student Engagement with Courses you can expect to spend (on average) 2–3 hours outside of class for each equivalent in-class hour. This means that on average you should expect to spend 9 to 12 hours working on linear algebra each week.
