Lab Switch Forms

If you are sick or unable to attend your regular lab session, you may be able to attend a different section that week—provided certain conditions are met:

• The course must have multiple lab sections.

• There must be available space in the alternate section.

• The lab session for that week must not have already concluded.

• You have not previously abused the lab switch request process.

Please note that physics labs often involve specialized equipment that is only available during scheduled times. While we will do our best to accommodate you in another section of the same course, once the equipment has been packed away for the week, it will not be possible to make up the lab.

To attend an alternate lab section, please complete the lab switch request form for your course.

Assume your request will be approved and attend the section you selected so you don’t miss that week’s lab!
