Hot off the Press!

NYSED has posted information for the School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) development.  See the link for information at:  School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP)

The School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) is the tool developed by the Department to support schools in planning and organizing their improvement efforts in the upcoming year.  Any school that is supported through the Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) support model, the Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) support model, or the Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) support model will be required to work with stakeholders to develop an SCEP for the upcoming school year.  The Department has organized the work teams to work through six different team activities prior to writing the SCEP:

AND.... NYSED has posted information for the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP) development.  See the link for information at:  District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP)

All Target Districts will work with stakeholders to consider existing needs and determine next steps for the upcoming school year. The DCIP should be informed by the DCIP Planning Document that is completed prior to writing the plan, along with the insights that have come from the school improvement planning process into the DCIP developed. Future Enrollments for Elementary Grades PK through 4:

It is that time of year again when we start preparing for the 23-24 School Year. An email will be going out to secretaries around marking future enrollment to ensure all students roll to the right building. We will also be holding training sessions for those that would like additional support.

The Transportation Times

We are very excited to share that in the very near future, the Transportation Dept will be resuming the use of Tripfinder for field trip requests! Transportation's staff will be scheduling an on-site visit at all schools to train on-site staff on how the software works. Tripfinder will allow the field trip process to be paperless, give the schools real-time access to their trips and monitor them from start to finish. It will also create a documented history for each school's trips, so they will be able to research previous trips for historical data.

We will also be offering additional support and training for Viewfinder during the visit.

After the Tripfinder training is complete, we will review the Viewfinder component of the software and answer any questions the staff may have.

The Registration Record

UPK 3 and 4 year old applications are available 4/6/23.  We are doing online registration for grades Kindergarten - 12 right now and hope to open it up for all UPK by May.

Please remember when filling out the change of address form to send them by email individually per family.  Also remember to include all family members living in the same household that the address change pertains to.

STAFF TRAC

For Administrators: It is that time of year where we are auditing evaluations to ensure all have been processed. Please reach out with any questions or issues.

Just a friendly reminder to add your out of district conference requests in StaffTrac prior to attending.
