Key Stage 4 Progression Guide 2023

Dear Parents / Carers and Students

Below are the names of all the courses studied in Key Stage 4. If you click on any one of them it will take you to the page full of information for that specific subject.

On each subject page you will find a link to the relevant exam board website page for that subject, but you will find most of the information you need to understand the content and style of the course in the text written by the relevant Head of Department.

Read the pages carefully and use their contents to help you decide which subjects best suit your future aspirations and your learning style.

In the first columns you will see the average % of students nationally who achieved a grade 7 or higher, and a grade 4 or higher in that subject in 2019 (there are no national figures available for last year's results).

Then you will see the Ricards Lodge results for 2019 grade 7 or higher and grade 4 or higher in each subject, followed by the 2020 results.

Please note that thier year on year variances reflect differing cohorts of students entered.
