Business Philosophy
Ju Ming successfully led Eastern art to the international stage, and later brought the international artistic vocabulary and spirit back to Taiwan and established the Juming Museum. The museum was built with two major purposes: "promoting sculpture art" and "promoting children's art education" We hope to present the development of sculpture art from a more complete perspective, It also cultivates children's five-sense experience of art and established professional institutions such as the "Children's Art Center", "Collection Maintenance Department" and "Research Department".
Promote art: The museum has a rich collection of Ju Ming's works and a unique natural environment. It has accumulated many years of collections, research, exhibitions and educational achievements. Through the planning of exhibitions, the in-depth research in the museum can be better understood, and the rich collection It can be more appreciated, and domestic and foreign artists are invited to co-curate exhibitions, making the Juming Art Museum a pioneering field for the development of sculpture art and creating new value for Ju Ming's works and their aesthetics.
Preservation of art: Our museum has been deeply involved in Taiwan for many years. Committed to "art work restoration" and "preservation technology development" and related research, building professional equipment and recruiting domestic professionals; at the same time, actively integrating domestic and foreign related resources, develops scientific cultural relic restoration technology and preventive preservation expertise, and has accumulated a large number of complete and representative restoration results over the years. It has a key position in the field of domestic cultural relics and art preservation and restoration, and plays a key role in inheriting the past and linking the future.
Researching art: Taking Ju Ming as the research axis, cross-cutting the current situation of the art world at home and abroad, Throughout the development of Taiwanese art before and after the war, we have accumulated rich research results and documentary field materials, held symposiums and seminars, published relevant publications, and actively conducted international exchanges. Gradually open up the visibility of Taiwanese sculpture research in the academic world and publish the semi-annual publication "Sculpture Research". It is the only professional academic journal related to sculpture in Taiwan, which establishes the strength of our sculpture museum.
