In schools, Earth Day tends to go by barely recognized. This year, we want to take advantage of the holiday and use our resources to raise awareness about our planet. From electricity production to the climate-plantlife interactions, this day is dedicated to learning.

 We will have guest speakers from organizations like UW and NOAA as well as student presenters. Students have the opportunity to present to groups of people, and hear from experts! 

We’re also preparing activities such as trail walks, water and soil testing (from our local pond!) and a hands-on art activity! We want this event to be an opportunity for students to dive into the environment and get hands-on, while learning from experts!
