How does this election work?
There will be time for campaigning, videos, posters, teacher recommendations and interviews. An election will be held where the student body will vote for one (1) of each ASB Executive Board position. Points will be added up and whoever has the most points will win the position they were running for. The point system is not strictly based off of the number of votes, but also your recommendations (worth number of points), interviews (worth number of points), campaign video (worth number of points), etc. During this process, the election committee will be making sure no harassment or unkind campaigning takes place, while keeping the candidates, running for a position, updated about ANY and ALL deadlines/changes.  

Responsibilities of the Executive Board
To plan and conduct executive board meetings, to discuss the overall wellbeing of the school and their peers. Coordinate school spirit, events, fundraisers, clubs, and activities. Be a voice and advocate for the student body and school. 

Candidates

Positions
President - Provides leadership, organization, communication and listening skills, and shows active interest in their school. 
Vice President - Assists ASB President and assume the role of president in their absence.
Secretary - Constantly collaborates with the other ASB members, especially Treasurer, to complete and file forms and keep the ASB generally organized. The ASB secretary must also work with the school secretary to maintain order regarding filing and paperwork.
Treasurer - Maintain ASB accounts, funding, budgets and overall purchasing/fundraising paperwork. Must work closely with the ASB secretary for all forms to be properly filed and approved. 
Committee Chair - Oversees club activity, club fairs, fundraising, organizing club meetings and overall voicing any concerns, questions, etc. to the ASB Executive Board. 
Activities Liaison - Communicate and process requests, events, activities and group activities to the ASB that aren't considered a club.
