Dear Parents and Principals,
We had another fun, busy day here, starting with a visit to Sopori Elementary, our pen-pals’ school. We toured their school, painted matching picture frames, shared our talents, showed them pictures of our schools, packed up the school supplies for our Mexican amigos, and enjoyed a yummy lunch together. We loved spending time with our pen-pals!
In the afternoon, we toured Kartchner Caverns, an incredible living cave, and then had delicious Mexican dinners at Manuel’s. We also celebrated Principal Scott Taylor’s birthday today, three times! We’re very excited for tomorrow too, when we’ll host our International Children’s Day party for our Mexican friends.
