Dear Parents and Principals,

We had a wonderful morning at the Sonora Desert Museum with our pen-pals. We explored a cave, learned about lots of animals, dug for fossils, pet stingrays, watched hummingbirds, and many other activities. Lunch together at McDonalds was really fun too, followed by swimming at Canoa.

It was Zoey’s birthday, so we found ways to celebrate her all day. After dinner, we watched the movie, “True Spirit”, about 16 year old Jessica Watson’s dream of sailing around the world by herself. Afterwards we discussed how Tammie’s dream of providing school supplies launched “Students Connecting Through International Service”, and how we might each achieve our dreams for the future. We are so grateful that we’ve had this week with these amazing students!
