Students who live within 1 mile, of school, are considered walkers.
School safety patrol members with stop flags are stationed at the following intersections to assist students in safely crossing the streets:
#1 - RES Backdoor (8:55-9:15am)
#2 - 144th and Canada/Bus Loop Entrance (8:55-9:15am)
#3 - 144th and Cantata (8:55-9:15am)
#4 - 144th and Chili (8:55-9:15am)
#5 - 145th and Canada (8:55-9:15am)
Please instruct your child to use the sidewalks and paths whenever possible.

9:10am: Outdoor supervision begins in the front of the building.
9:15am: First bell rings allowing all students to enter the building.
9:30am: All students expected to be in their desks for attendance.
Students wait outside until the first bell at 9:15am.
In the event of inclement weather, students will be allowed to wait inside beginning at 9:10am.
Students who line up in the front of school will be supervised beginning at 9:10am.
The playground is not supervised before school.
Our SACC program uses the playground in the morning.
Our nurse does not begin working until 9:00am.

Walkers who wish to ride their bicycles to school may do so with parental permission. Bicycles that are parked at school are expected to be locked. Please leave any extras (water bottles, speedometers, foot pegs, etc.) at home. These items can sometimes be removed too easily and can be stolen. Scooters may be stored in lockers in the school. Roller blades need to be removed on school property. They may be stored in lockers in the school. All students who ride bicycles, scooters, and or skateboards to school are expected to wear helmets.
