Student Birthdays & Classroom Celebrations

NO TREATS POLICY

In accordance with our District Wellness policy, we do not allow treats of any kind for birthdays.  Food, beverages or gifts may not be included in student birthday events at school. District Wellness Policy

LATEX BALLOONS

Latex balloons are not allowed at Rosemount Elementary. This practice protects students with latex allergies. Also, deflated or broken balloons are a choking hazard.

PARTY INVITATIONS

Invitations to parties or celebrations should not be distributed at school or on the bus, by students.  Invitations can be sent home with students in Friday Folders only. Contact information cannot be given out to families nor will we facilitate sharing contact info with families. Our practice supports an inclusive environment at our school and your cooperation is appreciated.

CLASSROOM CELEBRATIONS & PARTIES

Classroom celebrations or parties are left up to the individual teacher. 

Our student council hosts themed dress up days during the school year. Theme days will always be included on the school calendar and the weekly email blast.
