Members and Officers from Minnesota attend workshops to learn about happenings this year and better their leadership skills through FCCLA.

FCCLA members help cheer on the runners at the 196 Warrior Memorial 5k. They passed out refreshments and  gave medals to the racers.

Chapter members from the Central East area got together to listen to speaker Melanie Wickersheim and learn about what fun things are ahead for this year and connect with new people.

Members from the MN Central East Region compete in their STAR Events at the Regional level. All Eastview members advanced to State.

We were invited to give a tour of our FCS Department and our FCCLA Chapter. He remembered us from last year at Capitol Day so it was great to connect with him again and share what we are up to this year.

Our Chapter is proud to partner with MAFCS, Eastview High School Fashion Design Trends Class, and the Eastview Community to support this joint service project. Birthday in a Box donations will be collected starting in December 2023. Our Chapter and school community will be holding collections and a contest during Eastview's Winterfest week at the end of January. Kaajal Bahl will be facilitating a bundling session at the MAFCS conference on March, 2nd, 2024. Donations will be collected for this from the MAFCS geographic communities and brought to the conference. An Amazon store is opened as well for donations.

One of our membership recruiting tools we used was to invite the NorthStar Therapy dogs in this fall. We incorporated this into a STAR Event and are inviting them back this Spring. We had a blast playing and petting the dogs. Our Administration also came to visit.

Our chapter members took time out to make tie blankets and dog toys for the Therapy Animals that came to our school this fall. They are coming back this spring and we will give them all the items we made.
