First Track Meet

On March 23rd, 2026 Mount Pleasant Middle School had our first Track Meet of the season. We faced off against Northwest, JN Fries, and Harris Road Middle School. I participated in the Hurdles, 4 by 1, and the 200m Dash. In the Hurdles it was really close and I hope to get better before our next meet on Tuesday, March 31st. In the 4 by 1 we placed last but we did not have a lot of time to work on hand offs and marks. We did not have time because we were working on blocks and jumping. In the 200m Dash, I placed 4th and a shout out to my friend Clara Burris who got 2nd in the 200m Dash. A lot of the boys did well in their events and I know the boys placed first in their 4 by 1. We are continuing to work hard at practice so we can get way more points and wins at our next meet.
