Washed Away
By: Olivia T
Sidewalk chalk, she draws right before rainy days,
So she can watch it wash away.
These April showers have something to bring,
Life.
Beautiful flowers bud and spring.
She is blinded to see this wildlife,
All because of a lie,
An invisible string
She watches the rain pour from the sky
And realizes a connection made of iron,
Has always been split.
But she was never ready to admit,
Her friend was always hammering away,
On such a strong bond,
To see how much she could handle,
Before she leaves something so fond.
Fairy Of Knowledge
By Olivia T.
A fairy so sweet and fair,
Was led to a city so unfair.
She was greeted with a welcoming hand,
That was not so grand.
And everyone believed she was so naive,
To choose not to leave.
But she always knew,
And picked up every clue,
Because something so new was too good to be true.
The ruler of this land is not a fairy, but a fae,
The queen was a trickster of many names.
But the sweet fairy knew of this before the day,
She decided to play with flames.
