State Convention
What is the NC State Beta Convention? It is typically a two-day convention hosted in North Carolina where students from schools around the entire State get to demonstrate their abilities and talents in various competitions throughout the day. You get to meet people from all around the state, get to vote for Beta State officer positions, and participate in competitions to hopefully qualify for the Beta National Convention.
When is it 2024-2025? Jan 31st - Feb 1st 2025
Where is it? Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC
Theme? Radiate
Cost? Approx. $250 (dependent on number of students going)

National Convention
What is the National BETA Convention? It is a gathering each year during the summer with BETA students from around the country to meet up in a convention center, and show off their creativity, leadership, academic, and critical thinking skills. Along with solely gong to the Convention, CMHS BETA Club will be doing other supplementary activities, like going on ghost tours and visiting museums outside of the convention center to make sure this experience is as fun and amusing as possible.
When is it? June 21st - June 27th
Where is the National BETA Convention? Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

Cost? Approx. $1000 (dependent on number of students going)

Leadership Summit
What is the BETA Club Leadership Summit? It is an opportunity for students to engage in activities that require them to become leaders and use these applications for the real world. One can also work with other BETA members to help them find where they stand as a leader. Students are able to work collaboratively with staff member and other students to find what their strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to leading others.
When is it? October 14th - October 15th 2024
Where is it 2024-25? Great Wolf Lodge, Concord
