Class schedules may be accessed through the Portal beginning in late July. We will alert parents and students when schedules are available for viewing on the Portal. This will be the same system where you can see grades, lunch balances, pay fees, etc. Students and parents may log in using their district user names and passwords. Any parent who has not set up an account will need to contact the main office and obtain an access code for their student. If you already have a parent account, then you will use the same login credentials from last year.
Students may access the Portal through the same link and log in using their district username (typically their first and last name, no space) along with their district password. Students new to the district will receive this information on the first day of school.
Schedules are subject to change up until the first day of school depending on the need to balance class sizes or due to changes that affect the master schedule of the school. Requests for different classes will not be considered unless there is a mistake in placement. While every attempt was made to give students their primary elective requests, alternate courses have to be substituted when classes or full or when a conflict makes it impossible for a student to take a certain course.
During Freshman Orientation on August 4th or on the first day of school, students who don't know their schedule will be able to check rolls posted throughout the Freshman Academy to find their name and the name/room number of their AE teacher. We will direct students to their AE classes where they can obtain both a hard copy of their schedule as well as assistance in accessing the student portal.
