The 2021/22 school year marks my first year at BRHS. I previously taught Mathematics at Lake Region High School for 21 years. My husband and I live in East Boothbay and are busy looking to buy our forever home. I love to read (historical fiction is my favorite), tend my perennial gardens, and craft.

This is my first year at BRHS but my 3rd year working in the Boothbay CSD. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Education and went on to earn a Masters in Music Performance and an Associate's in Entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona. I'm also taking some graduate classes in Special Education at the University of Maine at Farmington. When I'm not at school, I help coach the Boothbay Region Sailing Team and enjoy running, biking and hiking around this beautiful state. I live in Boothbay Harbor with my partner and her 9 year old daughter.

School year 21/22 is my 26th year in the AOS school system. I started my career here at BRHS, taught for 24 years at Edgecomb Eddy and have circled back to BRHS. I think of myself as a resourceful problem solver... I love helping my students and colleagues solve puzzles and make connections by thinking outside of the box. When I am not teaching some of my favorite things to do are find "treasures" to repurpose, reshape and rebuild . I live on Southport with my husband and our 2 crazy covid dogs, Maui and Grady.

This year I began my 15th year working for AOS 98 as a Special Education Social Worker. I provide counseling and therapy to students in grades 7-12 with IEP's and 504 plans. I graduated from University of New England Masters In Social Work program in 1996. I was born and raised in Boothbay and graduated from BRHS in 1989! My wife Jana and I reside on Southport with our 5 year old granddaughter Cairine and our three dogs Macie Mae, Tigger and Roxxie. Our son Jacob is also a 2017 graduate of BRHS and he is now off to start his first job in the field of Environmental Science. In our family time, we enjoy boating, camping, and vacationing in Mexico and other tropical destinations.
