Jenny Factor

Jenny Factor’s first book, Unraveling at the Name (Copper Canyon Press), was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award. Her new book, Want, the Lake will be published by Red Hen Press in 2023. Each spring quarter, Jenny serves as the Lecturer in Poetry at Caltech in Pasadena, CA. The remaining part of the year, she is completing a doctorate in English literature at Brandeis University in MA with a focus on how poetry circulated among families and individuals in eighteenth-century New England. Jenny lives part time in what was once the eighteenth-century fishing village of Marblehead, MA, a community established on the ancestral homelands of the Naumkeag peoples.
