In this lecture, Reyna Grande will lead students in an exploration of character development. Using her two main protagonists from her historical novel, A Ballad of Love and Glory, as examples, Grande will delve into her process of character creation, covering the three-dimensions of character, voice infusion, backstory intricacies, and the importance of thorough research. Students will gain invaluable insights into how to breathe life into their characters, whether they are fictional or based on real people.
