Kirsten Sundberg Lunstrum (online prose elective) is the author of three collections of short fiction, most recently What We Do With the Wreckage, which won the 2017 Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction (UGA Press in 2018). Her previous collections are Swimming With Strangers (Chronicle Books, 2008) and This Life She’s Chosen (Chronicle Books, 2005), which was a Barnes and Noble Discover title. Kirsten has been the recipient of a PEN/O. Henry Prize and fellowships from MacDowell, the Sewanee Writers Conference, and the Jack Straw Writers Program. Her short fiction has appeared in Ploughshares, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, One Story, North American Review, The American Scholar, and elsewhere.
