Isabel Yap

Isabel Yap is a Filipino author who writes fiction and poetry. Born and raised in Manila, she has spent the past decade living and working in the US. Her work has appeared in venues including Tor.com, Lithub, Year's Best Horror and Dark Fantasy, and Year’s Best Weird Fiction. Her debut story collection, Never Have I Ever (Small Beer Press, 2021) has been a finalist for the Crawford, Ignyte, World Fantasy, Locus, and British Fantasy Awards, and won the Ladies of Horror Fiction Award. She holds a BS in Marketing from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and works as a product manager in the tech industry. She is currently based in New York City.
